Jasmine was introduced into the Film Industry Amy the early age of 5 years old - playing Santa's daughter Shelby in a commercial. Growing up in the Film and Modelling world has definitely has been a journey that helped Jasmine cope with her ADHD. While proceeding to finish her education, Jasmine stepped back from lead roles to do background work, minus playing Leads in her school Plays and Musicals. After graduation High School in 2012 and moving to Toronto for College preparing to study Aesthetician & Spa Management - Jasmine once again picked up the Acting bug. After finishing her first year of College, Jasmine decided to start her own Production Company "Klutz Productions" Which lead Jasmine to Applying and Studying at Toronto Film School to pursue Acting for Film & Television in 2013/2014. Jasmine graduated not only with the skills and training to be an Actor, but to work and navigate behind the scenes in Production as well. Growing more in the Industry and finding the love to also become a Director and Writer creating her own short films and her love for Acting. Between the ages of 18 band 20 years old, Jasmine noticed she was struggling more and more with her Mental Health and started to realize she may have more then ADHD. At age 21 Jasmine was tested and confirmed with 11 different diagnosis including Autism, 2 Auto Immune diseases, Learning disorders, Frontal Lobe damage and chronic pain caused by Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Arthritis as well as hearing loss and uses the help of hearing aids. Despite Jasmine having struggled with all this new information and Mental & Physical Health struggles in life - Writing, Direction and producing Short films, Online content and Modelling, her first love will always be Acting and this is what she uses everyday to help her get by when feeling lost or down. in September 2020, Jasmine accepted a lead role that had great meaning to her. Growing up Jasmine struggled with Binge Eating disorder due to her ADHD, and her new role was bringing light and awareness to B.E.D which can be found on her YouTube channel. Being in a spoken and emotional role is something Jasmine has always loved and giving herself a new acting challenge. Now, September 2022 - after taking sometime off to be a mother to her now 3 year old daughter, Jasmine has landed the lead role in a Horror Film being filmed in Kitchener Ontario where she will be tested the most in her acting career and hoping to give her strongest performance to date. Between Asia and Toronto, Studying at Toronto Actors Studio and Modelling, Jasmine looks forward to all the new opportunities that will be coming up, and to work with some amazing people in the industry. To continue her journey as a Advocate for Mental Health and Disabilities in film, to be a great Mother, A loving wife and most of all - To continue down the road of Acting, Writing and Directing.
