Saad Qureshi (born October 09, 1991) is a well-known, critically acclaimed, and popular Pakistani actor. Qureshi started his acting career with a role in the second season of GEO TV's drama series Khuda Aur Muhabbat in 2015 and, in a matter of six (6) years, has established himself as a bonafide superstar in the world of show business in Pakistan. His successful television serials include Wafa (2016), Ghairat (2017), Shadi Mubarak Ho (2017), Pukaar (2018), Ki Jaana Main Kaun (2018), Meer Abru (2019), Mehboob Apke Qadmon Main (2019), Mera Maan Rakhna (2020), and Benaam (2021). He has also worked in the and web series Addullah Pur Ka Devdas (2020) and short film House No. 242 (2021). Saad Qureshi is a highly dedicated and hard-working artist who goes to great lengths to embody characters that he plays. His burgeoning acting career is marked by roles that are simultaneously demanding, interesting and unorthodox. He is known for for the intensity, passion, and energy that he brings to the characters he plays and for approaching his craft with an extraordinary focus, bordering on the obsessive. Qureshi has studied and employs elements from all major acting techniques - Stanislavski's System, Lee Strasberg's Method, Stella Adler, the Meisner Technique, Michael Chekhov's Psycho-Physical Technique, Practical Aesthetics, Uta Hagen and Viola Spolin - but his personal favorites are Stella Adler and the Meisner Technique. Qureshi was born into a family of businessmen, on October 09, 1991, in Multan, Pakistan. He grew up with three (3) elder brothers in Islamabad, Pakistan. After completing his basic education in Pakistan, he moved to Canada to pursue higher education. In 2014, he received a bachelor's degree in business administration for the York University in Toronto, Canada. He returned to Pakistan in 2014 and was discovered as an actor in a talent hunt conducted by GEO Entertainment, which lead to a major role in the second season of the hit series Khuda Aur Muhabbat. Qureshi is a man of many talents who, in addition to acting, can sing and dance. He has also worked as a deejay and is an avid sportsman. He was a part of Pakistan's Under-Thirteen and Under-Seventeen tennis tournaments in Pakistan. Qureshi married Misha Chaudhry, a dental and a certified plastic surgeon, on December 27, 2019. The couple live in Karachi, Pakistan, and run an online child sponsorship program, La Ayuda, dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children all over the world.
