Heather Lynn Geisler is a Los Angeles based actress, born on October 7th, 1989, in Modesto, California. She is the daughter of Daniel Geisler, a video game programmer, and Victoria Geisler, a United States postal worker. Geisler attended Sisk Elementary, Salida Middle School, and Modesto High School. She attended Modesto High for their International Baccalaureate (I.B.) program and graduated top of her class with a 4.7 GPA. She is the third of four siblings. Her older brother, Donald Clark, owns his own window cleaning business in Ripon, California; her older sister, Amber Geisler, is an image finalist at Dreamworks; and her younger brother, Danny Geisler, is a young computer genius at San Jose State University. From ages three to five, Geisler took tap, jazz, and ballet dance classes at a local dance studio in Modesto. Her favorite memory is performing a father-daughter jazz routine to "Splish-Splash." The performance hours were often long and tiring for a young Geisler. At six years old, she went to watch her younger brother at his karate class and fell in love. She stopped dance classes to join Shudo-Kan Karate. She had classes three days a week and after climbing the ranks, she began teaching younger students as part of her black belt training. She performed in karate tournaments in and around Modesto. She once won a karate tournament for grappling in Turlock, California, and was prized with a large trophy and blue mountain bike that she still owns today. Geisler's favorite weapons are the nun-chucks. In high school, she entered a scholarship pageant to earn money for college. While other contestants sang or played instruments, she performed a "kata" with her nun-chucks. Geisler was written about in the local newspaper as having "too scary" a talent for the pageant. She was third runner up. After twelve years of training, she received her black belt. It is one of her proudest moments and biggest accomplishments. Geisler followed in her older sister's tracks, playing volleyball in middle school and high school and running track and field, her favorite sport. She ran varsity her freshmen year in the 100m dash, 200m dash, and 4x100m relay. Her junior year, she started running cross country in the Fall in order to prepare for track and field in the Spring. Her cross country team traveled to San Diego in 2006 for a big meet and she fell in love with a local university, the University of California San Diego. Heather was accepted and attended UCSD after graduating high school in 2007. Geisler's first taste of acting was helping her sister film for The Academy of Art in San Francisco. She often starred alongside her younger brother, but never though too much into acting until she began acting classes at UCSD. She entered UCSD as a biology major, but did not like the large number of students in each class and little social interaction. She completed two years of her biology degree, but after taking her first UCSD acting class, she was hooked. In 2009, Geisler took time off from UCSD to travel to London, England. She was accepted into the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and studied classical acting. She became well versed in Shakespearean and Jacobean teachings. She attended dozens of plays in London including multiples at The Globe. One of her favorite plays she watched was "The National" starring Kevin Spacey. After returning to the United States, she changed her major at UCSD to Theatre&Dance with the full support of her family. She graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre&Dance and minor in economics. Geisler moved to Los Angeles in 2011 and began taking classes with Amy Lyndon, Upright Citizens Brigade, and doing workshops with casting directors, agents, and managers. She continues to amass acting credits in film, television, and commercials.
