Martina Catalfamo

Martina was born in Sicily. She started acting when she was 8 years old at her local Elementary School Theatre. Because of her recognized talent she was accepted later on at the "Luigi Valli' School, famous for Classical and Drama Studies. She graduated with the highest grades and honor in 2012 allowing her to be accepted at the Rome University "La Sapienza" majoring in International Studies and Drama. While studying, Martina attended several workshops at the famous "Centro Sperimentale" of Cinecitta' in Rome. She also worked to improve her acting at Ciapa Drama School directed by Gisella Burinato. In 2015 and 2016 she was accepted at the Venice Biennale Theatre College where she followed classes led by Pascal Rambert and Oskaras Korsunovas. Her first major break into the Motion Picture Industry was in 2016 when she was cast for the role of Laura in Dei (2018). Recently Martina attended "Meisner Method" classes in Los Angeles to further improve her International experience. Her idols are Billie Holiday, Marylin Monroe and David Bowie.
