Zach Herrington was born in Hattiesburg, MS, just north of Biloxi. As a child he was quickly placed into a gifted program within the first school system he attended and began advanced study courses during the summers throughout his youth. He graduated from Pearl High School in Pearl, MS where he led the Art Honor Society and diligently worked as the newspaper and yearbook photographer, although reluctantly turning down acceptance to a private academy of the arts twice during that time. He attended Mississippi College briefly after high school to study Fine Art and compete as a distance runner in Track & Field/Cross Country. After college he joined the United States Army and served while on active duty in the 82nd Airborne Division. Zach has been seen on television with Vanessa Williams during an episode of Royal Pains (2015) on USA Networks, a recent Indie film released to a sold out theater at the SOHO International Film Festival, The Broken Ones (2017) with lead actor Charlie Bewley (Demetri from The Twilight Saga : Breaking Dawn Part 2), a recent indie feature IRIS (2017) in post production as a featured character, a supporting role in Never After (2016) as Edward Barret, an award winning short film making its way around America among several other exciting upcoming films. He works fluently with Independent writers, directors and cinematographers that have worked with veteran actors such as the late Robin Williams. On many projects whether it's in front of or behind the camera and on or off the stage, twice of which for outdoor theatre performances commissioned by Grammy award winning artist Lauryn Hill, his knack for being involved in as much of the creative process as possible has led him to star on extraordinary sets in experimentals using 15mm and 35mm film. Whether he's tracking rebels through the desert in a Sci-Fi, covered with snow somewhere in a magical forest or being tethered upside down and completely varnished with alien goo, he's always looking for new and creative ways to bring a story to life. His ventures have also led to modeling in displayed photos for Canon in an exhibit at The Whitney Museum of Art in New York City for a gala event with super model Rachel Cook, modeled for top designers and has also been featured in multiple ad campaigns/commercials for Jameson Whiskey and Canon. He resides in New York, New York and enjoys studying and traveling in his spare time.
