Gregory Kirchhoff was born on June 18th, 1992 in Hamburg, Germany. After spending numerous years abroad, studying in England and Spain, Gregory finally returned to Germany where he wrote and directed his debut feature, Dusky Paradise (2016), which went on to be nominated for numerous international awards including the Discovery Award at the Raindance Film Festival. His second film, Baumbacher Syndrome (2019) opened the renowned 53. Hof International Film Festival and premiered internationally at the Shanghai International Film Festival. The film was released on Netflix and HBO. In 2021 Kirchhoff directed an episode of Tatort, Germany's most popular and longest running crime series.
