Hannah Christine Shetler was born in the small town of Goshen, Indiana to Beth and Jay Shetler and is the youngest of two. Painfully shy as a child, she grew up with a passion for imagination, constantly dressing up in anything she could find around her home, from blankets fashioned into princess dresses, to an adventurer's jungle apparel made entirely from mud. Growing up in a big, tight-knit family, she had a plethora of cast and crew members at her disposal, never failing to force her cousins to partake in endless performances directed, produced, choreographed, and, of course, starring herself. She started acting in the theatre when she was 6 years old, and began her professional career at the age of 9. Some of her most notable roles on stage include Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker, Ramona Quimby in Romana Quimby, and Jane Banks in Mary Poppins. Her debut performance in film was in the short film The Void as Clio Sharp, and since then, has appeared in several indie films, as well as co-staring in the upcoming shows High Desert, and American Gigolo. She is most well known for her work as the titular character in the recently released feature film, Waking Karma, alongside Michael Madsen. She studied at several reputable studios and camps, including the Deborah Lemen Acting Studio, AMTC, Grey Studios, Jason La Padura, CSA, Pilot Camp with Greg James Blount, and most recently at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy where she will graduate with a BFA in 2023. Other than acting, Hannah is proficient at singing, dancing, and modeling, and enjoys playing the ukulele, piano, skateboarding, golfing, stage combat, and much more. She has also been the recipient of several awards for her performance skills, including but not limited to, Best Model Overall Winner (AMTC), Best Actress Overall Finalist (AMTC), Best Singer Runner Up (AMTC), Miss Photogenic (National American Miss), Top Model 1st Runner Up (National American Miss), Best Performer (Show Choir, Multiple), Best Female Vocalist Within A Show (Norwell Show Choir Invitational).
