Justin Nickolas

Justin began his career as a model for California surf brand Ocean Pacific and performed in shows with the Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory, Center Theatre Group, One More Productions and MTA. He trained in the musical theatre conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts. At 14, Justin auditioned and was cast as part of the ensemble in the Royal National Theatre's production of "An Enemy of the People" with Sir Ian McKellan. His audition piece was a poem by William Yeats, which he read with a British accent for director Trevor Nunn. The only U.S. engagement ran for six weeks in the summer of 1998 at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. He made a return to the acting world in 2007 as the Finnish video gamer in a U.S. national TV ad campaign for Mountain Dew Game Fuel, directed by Craig Gillespie. In the spring of 2022, Justin booked a lead (his first since 1998's Sin so Well) and various supporting roles in music videos with Mallory Merk, Meg Myers, Livelihood, Hunny, Pistol for Ringo, ZayBang and Cayo. He dances as a mosher in "Children of Light II," a single release from indie pop rock artist Meg Myers. "Church's Chicken" is a single release from Livelihood - Justin plays a cop. In the summer of 2022 he will be shooting five videos back to back: "Thorns," from up and coming Warner Records artist Mallory Merk, "Homesick," an art house style video with Hunny, "Sacred Geometry" by Pistol for Ringo, "White Chalk" by ZayBang and "Late" with Cayo ft. Trippie Redd. Some of Justin's other recent projects include promos for Steven Spielberg's "Ready Player One" (Warner Bros.), "Empire" (Fox TV), "Hand of God" (Amazon Studios), "Childhood's End" (Syfy), "Monster Trucks" (Nickelodeon Movies), and "Wet Hot American Summer" (Netflix). Justin also recently modeled with MTV (New Remote Productions) and the cast of Teen Wolf, Justin Timberlake on his "Man of the Woods" tour in Los Angeles, Thirty Seconds to Mars at Camp Mars Malibu, Jake Paul & Team 10, KIIS FM's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in 2018, Hermès, Ted Baker and Pandora Radio in 2019. In 2020, he booked promos for the Disney Channel Original Movie Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2 (2020), directed by Paul Hoen and for the Freeform channel. In 2021, Justin worked on "The Magic Flute" and Terence Blanchard's "Fire Shut Up in my Bones" with the Metropolitan Opera, Steven Spielberg's West Side Story (2021) and In the Heights (2021), a new musical from Lin-Manuel Miranda. His bookings with Disney TV continued as well after being asked to appear a second year at Freeform's 31 Nights of Halloween Fan Fast (2019) with Michael Levitt Productions.
