Sullivan Braun was born in Santa Monica, California to parents from Los Angeles. He is an only child primarily of Irish, German, Russian and French descent. His mother is a technology exec in the entertainment industry and his father is an arts and entertainment producer. At age 4 ½ in front of a large audience at his kindergarten graduation, Sullivan surprised his parents by announcing his intention to become an actor and director. After 6 years of insistence, his parents finally enrolled him in an acting workshop in Los Angeles. It was there Sullivan was recommended by the program director to perform in a showcase in front of seven top children's talent agencies. He was offered representation by all seven agents and managers. Sullivan began his professional acting career that same year in an independent music video and documentary film. His first network TV role came the following year on the television series South Park as the real-life incarnation of the animated character Kyle. At age 12, Sullivan wrote and performed a live stand-up comedy set at the well-known Improv Comedy Club in Hollywood to a packed audience. Sullivan's priority remains his education. He attends high school at the California School of the Arts Acting Conservatory and participates year-round in classes and theatrical performances. He also attends workshops in acting, stage combat, improvisation, theatre performance and stand-up comedy. He looks forward to the day he's able to pursue film and television acting full-time like his beloved cousin, Brianne Howey.
