Born in 1996 Shelby Poston is a Pennsylvanian native of Polish and Russian descent who likes to be called Shel. Shel is a voice over artiest, live actress, and a director/writer. Along with a love for acting, Shel also has a love for extreme sports. She is the original director of a short play called "Kearon and Kyle" which first performed in 2018 at Watermelon One-Act Festiva in Maryland. She was the Assistant Director for "Sherlock Holmes" at her high school and directed "Under Lubyanka Square" her second year in college. As a baby, Shel modeled for Boscov's and continued modeling again as she got older but her main focus is acting. Her acting career began in first grade where she was a part of a theater production. She has played soccer since age three, but stopped when she reached high school. She continued soccer once in college where she won the "Second Team ALL-Region Women's Soccer Award for the National Junior College Athletic Association Region XIX" in 2015. Concurrently, she worked at her college as the lighting designer for the springs 2016's production of "A Lie of the Mind" and in the spring of 2017 directed "Under Lubyanka Square". In addition to soccer talents, Shel has experience playing basketball, track and field, dance, karate, and twirling. She had reached the level of brown belt in karate and participated in her school's Pac-10's for track and field for a few years. Shel has won a few twirling and dance awards and was even in Philadelphia's Thanksgiving Day Parade from 2007 through 2009 as a tap dancer. Shel has also been a participant in choirs and in the spring of her junior year of high school traveled to London and Paris where she performed at Hampton Court and Notre Dame. After returning from Europe, Shel was an extra in the pilot of "How to Get Away With Murder". It is in that moment that Shel fell in love with film acting and decided to get more involved with the film world. Shel has an Associate Degree in Acting, in 2018 she attended New Jersey Horror con and Film Festival for "The Doll" where she had a table at the con to meet fans and sign autographs along with being on Hollow9 radio, and in the summer of 2018 she won Best Supporting Actress in a Short Film at Spiral Awards 2018. In 2017 she went to Wizard World Philadelphia (a comic con) for "Hero or Menace" and had an Q and A for fans.
