Hermon Hailay

Born in 1985 and without any formal training, Hermon Hailay is one of Ethiopia's leading film writer/directors, with several critically and commercially successful domestic DVD films to her name. Her first theatrical feature film is Price of Love which was in the Official Selection at Toronto International Film Festival 2015 and has won a number of awards and screened at numerous international film festivals. She is also working to help develop the young Ethiopian film industry.
