Tom George was an actor as a child, appearing in many school and local amateur productions up to his late teens. Rather than go to drama school as expected he opted for a more glamorous career in the world of accountancy! (Oh well, at least it paid the bills!). Now in his middle age he has the time and the re-kindled passion to pursue his writing and acting career without worrying if it will pay the rent. Since returning to acting in 2014, Tom has constantly improved his skill set by studying for two years with Act Up North, a company specialising in TV and film acting tuition. He has also to date been cast in around 30 short films and features, and during 2016 secured representation with Emma Thornton of Redwood Talent, thereby obtaining professional roles. Tom continues to push the bar ever higher and meets every challenge with enthusiasm and a professional attitude. He is fun to work with and adopts a good team spirit, whilst still focussing on the requirements of the production.
