Residing on the coast of Southern California, Dave has been drawn to the ocean as well as the sky starting from a young age. At around age 7, Dave and his family would spend a couple of hours every week flying a gliders in Hemet, CA. While at home in Newport Beach, Dave was overwhelmed with endless possibilities to have fun in the ocean. From surf to SUP, the ocean never failed to deliver a day full of thrill! When Dave was introduced to the extraordinary sport of kiteboarding at age 10 with the support of his parents, he knew that he had found the perfect sport for him. After watching kiteboarders jump 60 to 70 feet in the air, he had spotted his niche. Dave was instantly hooked to the sport of kiteboarding not only because it combines flight and a board on the ocean, but because of the variety of riding styles that the sport has to offer. Over the past couple of years, Dave has started to focus mainly on his freestyle progression and continues to ride both at home and across the globe. When Dave isn't at school, doing homework, or training for his private pilot's license, you can be sure to find him on the water at Seal Beach or Belmont Shore in California, having a great time.
