My name is Casey Zeller. I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA where my family still resides. From the age of three I have always expressed myself through movement. I started as a jazz, tap and ballet dancer before becoming heavily involved in gymnastics. By the age of twelve I was a level 8 gymnast before my mom forced me to quit, in which I joined the Track and Field team shortly after. I tried many sports through my childhood but Track and Field I found was my calling. I was part of one of the most successful High School Track and Field teams in the nation at St. Thomas Aquinas while keeping a 4.0 GPA. I graduated 3rd in my class and secured a full college scholarship in Track. I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Sports Management while competing in the Heptathlon, 400m Hurdles, and the 4x400m relay. I went on to pursue my M.S. in Sports Management from the University of Tennessee while still chasing my Olympic dream in the 400m Hurdles. Shortly after graduating I moved to Atlanta, Ga to find an ambitious sports career and continue my hurdle training. I worked in the Athlete's Advisory Committee for 3 years with the USA Track and Field and fought for many of my fellow athletes. However, in 2012, 2 months before the Olympic trials I suffered a season ending injury and the next year was forced to retire. After some soul searching I stumbled upon the stunt industry which readily filled the void Track left. In 2013 I was tafted on the The Walking Dead and have hit the ground running ever since. I have thoroughly enjoyed this new journey the industry has taken me on and am always excited to see what happens next.
