Campbell O'Hare

Campbell O'Hare was nominated for two Barrymore Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Play in 2015 for her performances in "The Whale" at Theatre Exile and "Rapture, Blister, Burn" at The Wilma Theater. She won the 2015 Barrymore Award for her portrayal of Avery in "Rapture, Blister, Burn", and "The Whale" went on to win the Barrymore Award for Outstanding Overall Production of a Play. She is a member of the Wilma Theater's resident Hothouse acting company, now in its second year. Campbell was born Meaghan Campbell O'Hare on February 14, 1992 to Mike and Dixie O'Hare. She grew up in Prince George, VA and is the oldest of four girls. She played softball for most of her life and always loved film, but did not become interested in acting until junior high school. Campbell attended college in Philadelphia, PA at the University of the Arts, where she graduated with honors and was awarded the 2014 Directors' Choice Award by her professors. Her work on film has been screened at the Berlin International Film Festival, the Philadelphia Women's Film Festival, and the Garden State Film Festival.
