James Martin Buck is a filmmaker based in Yorkshire. Having studied at York St. Johns University for a filmmaking degree, he swiftly progressed to create his own content. Gaining his early experience shooting events and promotional material, James took his newly gained knowledge of shooting both live events and fast paced promotions into story telling. He set ambitious projects up on small budgets and boldly lead teams of devoted professional through the productions. Wanting to continue to progress and access experience of managing bigger budgets, James sort work on feature films and gave up a large block of his time to tour with the World Strong Man Championships where he lived in a van and travelled across Europe following the events and shooting a documentary for the Championship organisers. James is the younger Sibling to RIchard Buck, who before becoming an Actor and Filmmaker was an international athlete who won seven medals for TeamGB at World and European Championships. The brothers have worked together on a number of occasions. One time where James lead the production "The Paragon Gate" and another on the award nominated short documentary "My Way of Winning: Asha Philip" Directed by Richard Buck with James Martin Buck working as a Producer and DoP. James Martin Buck has been tipped by local filmmakers as one of the UK's top Short Indy Directors.
