Matthieu Moulin is a French artistic director specializing in the French song of the 20th century. From a very young age, only one thing counts: the music, the old song and the record. For years, he discovers and listens to hundreds of voices, thousands of songs. In perfect self-taught, he becomes a collector of everything related to the song and history of the French Song. In 2000, the "Marianne Mélodie" label offered her the opportunity to make a CD dedicated to Mado Robin of the Opera. In 2003, a compilation in tribute to the divette Fanely Revoil, receives the Orphée d'Or Prize from the Academy of the operatic disc in the Operetta category, at the Opera Bastille. With this reward, he is hired as a project manager by the label and music publisher "Marianne Melodie". Between 2000 and today, hundreds of very diverse compilations have been made by his care, nearly 100,000 songs saved and saved thanks to the reissue on CD and the provision in digital. In 2007, he began a new collaboration with Universal Music & Brands: the collection "Chansons Tendres" was born with the aim of republishing in CD artists from the years 1960-1970, as well as thematic compilations. In 2008, with Warner Music France, he made other compilations but also the integrals of major artists such as Gilbert Bécaud, Line Renaud, Édith Piaf, Charles Trenet and Annie Cordy. With the INA archives, he also directed several DVD documentaries on lyric artists Annie Cordy, Paulette Merval and Marcel Merkès, Luis Mariano, Francis Lopez, Lucien Lupi and Mado Robin. At the request of the municipality of Yzeures-sur-Creuse, he is the artistic designer of the Mado Robin Museum inaugurated on December 21, 2008 at Place François Mitterrand.
