Dezmyre Volmeus, born as Clernicole Volmeus, is a Haitian-American actress and filmmaker from Miami,Florida. She is the daughter of Marc N Volmeus and Clerda Cajuste. Volmeus graduated from Florida International University with a dual degrees in Political Science and International Relations. In 2012, after the death of her grandfather, Jerome Cajuste, she decided to relocate to California to pursue her dream in acting. Volmeus first settled in San Diego, appeared in many fashion shows, was a beauty pageant contestant for Miss California 2013, and later moved to Los Angeles permanently. The most memorable moment during the transition to Los Angeles was when she booked a national commercial without an agent. Volmeus became determined to learn everything about show business. She had the opportunity to intern at Jerry Pace agency to have an understanding of what managers and talent agents deal with. Soon after, she joined casting director Anissa Williams as an assistant for the experience. In 2019, Volmeus stepped in the arena of filmmaking. She has written, produced, directed, and starred in two of her films which gained recognition in several film festivals. One her films, "Lost and Found" won four awards. Volmeus is on a mission to break the Haitian tradition that ban one from pursuing in the entertainment industry. She gets most of inspiration from Tyler Perry and Ava Duvernay.
