Garret Kaminskis

Garret Kaminskis was born Garret John Kaminskis on July 20, 1962 in Racine, Wisconsin, USA where he grew up. Now residing in Lake Barrington, Illinois a Northwestern suburb of the City of Chicago, Illinois. Garret retired after 30 years as a career Battalion Chief - Platoon Commander in 2011 from a fire department in Southeastern Wisconsin. Garret owns and operates a Specialized Response Team (SRT) training and equipment company with clients throughout North America. He also serves as a Senior Crew Chief for a volunteer helicopter response unit that serves the State of Illinois and State of Wisconsin. He is qualified as a UH-1V and UH-1NN Huey Helicopter Air Rescue Specialist, Tactical Emergency Medicine Operator, Basic Airborne SWAT Tactic's Instructor and OH-58 Kiowa Tactical Flight Officer bringing real-life experience to his acting career. He is best known for (2015) Chicago P.D., (2014) Shipping Wars, (2013) Tough Seasons and (2013) Chicago Fire.
