Andrew Borene is a technical advisor, actor, voice over talent, and commentator for film, television and radio. His specialty is advising on political, security, military, and business matters and typecast acting in similar roles. He has advised production professionals around the world with research, planning, direction, costume, props, set design, on-set advisory and performer training related to intelligence, defense and military, special operations, security, politics, Washington DC, and international security affairs. Andrew Borene's acting roles have included those of political, military, security and business professionals where he can deliver gravitas and credibility with his imposing stature and baritone voice. His acting debut was in a role as a Senior White House Official during Season 3 of the Emmy-winning television series "House of Cards." He is more widely known for guest analyst appearances on international news networks. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News, BBC, MSNBC, CBS News, Wall Street Journal Live, Al Jazeera, CCTV (China), CTV (Canada) and other outlets. Andrew has extensive political experience, including as a spokesman and campaign advisor to US Presidential candidates John Kerry, John McCain, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden. He is a licensed attorney and served in the US government as an Associate Deputy General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Defense. He has been a senior executive at IBM Corporation and is recognized in Washington circles as a national security business insider and management consultant. Growing up in Minnesota, Andrew participated in high school theater and several sports including football and rugby. He was captain of his college football team and later coached high school football, before joining the Marines. A veteran U.S. Marine Corps Officer, Andrew served in the major combat operations during the Spring 2003 invasion of Iraq and has been an executive board member of the National Defense Industrial Association's special operations division.
