British author, technology theorist and commentator; awarded his doctorate from St John's College, Oxford, he writes and broadcasts around digital culture, exploring questions of what it means to use technology well. He published his first book, "Fun Inc.", with Random House in 2010, exploring the place of video games in contemporary culture, and has since written around technology's relationships with language, politics and business.
