Sylvie Mae Baldwin is a versatile actress, movement artist, and musician. She spent her childhood performing self-written plays and, as she likes to say, "not much has changed." In 2015 Sylvie Mae premiered "skinny crazy small," a solo performance based on her experience with anorexia nervosa. Alongside her self-generated work, Sylvie Mae is particularly passionate about classical plays and theatre for young audiences. Recent regional highlights include "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane" at South Coast Repertory (CA) and "King Lear" at Key City Public Theatre (WA). Sylvie Mae is thankful for the mentorship and training she has received from Anne Bogart and SITI Company, Seattle Repertory Theatre's Artistic Associate Marya Sea Kaminski, and theatrical luminary Laura Ferri. Sylvie Mae currently resides in New York City.
