Korey J. Isbell began his career as an audio engineer and producer for "Al Bell", formally a co-owner of Staxs records and Alpine records. This job experience, which lasted 5 years, assisted in the development of his passion to produce and be more creative. He declared that this job experience aided his understanding and comprehension of production by concluding, "The visual aspect of art is just important as its auditory aspect." This declaration lead to his experimentation with video along with audio, and he soon began acquiring knowledge of how the two could be used together to create and convey a greater impact. Video production turned out to be Korey's first passion followed by music production and musical artistry. The same audio engineering and producing opportunity that began his journey and career in production led to the inspiration and vision of creating 24 Productions. He often explains how his inspiration came from witnessing and participating in the 53rd Grammy awards celebration. Al Bell was honored for his past work and accomplishments at an earlier event. After attending his (Al Bell) ceremony and the Grammy awards celebration Korey realized that he would begin to pursue his dreams of production and no longer hold them off. Like all companies 24 productions began small. The creation of his first show, Swagg St Live, was his first production after his experience in Los Angeles. His video music show,Swagg St. Live, highlighted different genres of music and they were all independently produced. Twenty-six (26) original episodes aired regionally on CW-Network in at a 12-noon time slot. This was the first production to help begin the expansion of 24Productions. A four week special," Al Bell presents: Soulful Rhythems", showcased R&B and other soulful videos both past and present. Korey also independently produced videos for artist "Mr. 3", mini-documentaries, promo videos, advertisement commercials, and other short films. Swagg St Live Dance Edition was an idea which showcased his talents and caught the attention of "Matthew L. Mixon", and latter lead to him being hired to produce the networks first original content show, titled Great Gospel Morning, which is still currently airing and others works. The show is broadcasts in areas such as Philidelphia, Florida, Chicago, and Atlanta. Korey has directed recent national docs such as 50 years of funk, the Bar Kays, and Changing Memphis.
