Elena Carmen was born on July 2, 1988 as Carmen-Elena Cojocaru. She is a film/TV editor, known for 'Suede: Night Thoughts' (2015), 'Dr Dre: Another Beat' (2016), 'David Bowie: The Man Who Stole The World' (2016), 'League of Legends' (2016). She made her debut as a self-shooting director with 'Stripping The Guise', a documentary that looked at the commercialization of women's bodies in the stripping industry. The Arts and Humanities Research Council granted her a Master of Arts Award to fund her postgraduate studies in filmmaking. Elena Carmen went to do her Masters in Filmmaking at University of East London.
