Gunnar A. Dooley

Gunnar Dooley started his acting career in 7th grade at the International School of Stavanger, in Norway. He played an old man in the musical A Little Princess. During his 8th grade year prior to his departure from Norway, he was cast as one of the Wickersham Brothers, in the musical Suessical the Musical, Junior. After arriving to the Illinois, he began attending Mascoutah Middle School. During his freshman year of Mascoutah High School he was one of two freshman placed in the Mascoutah Show Choir. Dr. Erin Knobeloch, the Mascoutah Choir director, ensures that every member of show choir is involved with the musical. That year he was part of the cast of Aida. In 2015, during Gunnar's sophomore year, he began to think of acting as a more serious part of his life. It was something he enjoyed and wanted to gain more experience. He stumbled upon the St Louis auditions website, where the director David Malone was searching for extras for an independent film. Gunnar submitted a headshot (from a photo in his parents hallway) and a resume. He was asked to attend the filming and was used as a stand in for that day's filming. The next day David, contacted Gunnar to ask if he would be interested in an actual role in the film. The rest is history - or maybe just the beginning.
