Gabrielle DeCaro is an American actress, writer, and film director. She was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania on May 28, 1994 and is of Italian descent. While performing in Pittsburgh-area theatre as a teenager, Gabrielle was awarded with an acting scholarship at the annual Gene Kelly Awards. Gabrielle continued her education at the University of Michigan where she was mentored by feminist performance artists such as Holly Hughes and Karen Finley, who gave her the fortitude to write and perform her own monologues, plays, and films. She made her filmmaking debut with Forget Your Kitten (2016): a comedic variety show-pilot reminiscent of 1960's girl groups and the golden age of variety television.
