Gizem Bayiksel

She was born in Ankara. She worked as a photographer and coordinator at many film festivals. She also shot a short film "She Is Not Fatma Girik" in 2011. A short film adaptation of the esteemed Turkish story writer Cemil Kavukçu's "She Is Not Fatma Girik". Most recently she is the festival coordinator and programmer on Pink Life QueerFest since the second festival. Which is the first and only queer film festival in Turkey, since the beginning of the festival.
