Tommaso Terigi was born in 1991. He has attended a one year course at TECH Music School (London), where he developed his passion for cinema. Later on he has enrolled at the Istituto Cinematografico Michelangelo Antonioni (ICMA), near Milan, where he graduated with a final note of 96/100. It was in thatoccasion that he could start working behind the camera by realizing some web productions with a team of friends. Since he became more and more interested in cinematography, he began working in many professional productions, at first as an electrician, and later as a camera assistant. In 2014 he was the second director of photography of short film "Lerebete" - which was shot in Vieste, Apulia -, and the first director of photography of interactive short film "Il colloquio di lavoro", by Nicola Frigoli, and of medium-length film "Courbet - La tela dello scandalo", by Sandro Soldati. Moreover, together with Viola Folador he created the Lightman Productions, which allowed him to keep working as a director of photography and as a cameraman mainly for commercials, for instance "Paolo e il Tennis" and "Merci Generik!". In 2015 he was both the director of photography and a cameraman in independent short film "#99" by Fabio Landi and in short film "Samuel" by Viola Folador for Confcommercio - Terziario Donna. By working for Moviechrome, a film production company, he could specialize in the use of professional cameras as RED Epic Dragon, Sony FS7, and Canon C300/500. With Moviechrome he had the occasion to be the cinematographer for the commercial "Ford Mustang" shot in Rome for the ATP Tennis World Tour. At the same time, he kept working as a camera assistant with directors of photography such as Michele D'Attanasio, who is a member of AIC (the Italian association of directors of photography).
