Tobias Ross-Southall is an award-winning British artist and filmmaker, living and working in London. As a video and installation artist Ross-Southall has exhibited in the UK and internationally. He creates and directs visuals on a variety of platforms, including film, advertising, magazine editorials, artist branding, publications and music videos. In 2012 he was nominated in the Best New Director category at the UK Music Video Awards. He co-directed Perfecting Fee, which won the Smoke & Mirrors 48 Hour Film Competition; off the back of which he went into production on his second film, Eleanor, starring Golden Globe Winning Actress Ruth Wilson. Eleanor was exhibited as a three screen immersive installation which was displayed in London at The Cob Gallery in 2014 and The Soho Revue Gallery in 2015. Eleanor was officially selected for the Aesthetica Film Festival in 2015. In 2016, Ross-Southall was invited to contribute to Demopolis: The Right To Public Space, an exhibition at the Akademie Der Kunste, Berlin, where he collaborated to produce a four screen panoramic video installation. Ross-Southall studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, London and the Pratt Institute, New York.
