Marcus Andre

Marcus André was born on April 19, 1990 in Portimão, Portugal as Marcos André Marçal Araújo. He moved away from home at the age of 15 to pursue his career in acting and did his first television appearance at the age of 16 in the TV series "Jura" for SIC. Throughout the years, Marcus has worked in a professional theatre company as a resident actor and director assistant, while appearing in several TV series including popular TV soaps such as "Morangos Com Açucar". At the end of 2009, the young actor decided to take the leap and move to London where he joined the dance company NuTempo directed by the choreographer Everaldo Pereira (known for "The Lion King" musical). During his time in London Marcus has graduated with a Musical Theatre Diploma by the Trinity Guildhall College London and worked on several musical projects, such as "God Spell", "The Legacy", "The Wiz", while joining casts in the film and television industries in the UK. In the later years Marcus has set based in Berlin to pursue an old dream of developing further knowledge in Grotowski technique. Currently he works between Lisbon, Berlin and London.
