Scout Lyons is a 23 year old actress, singer-songwriter, and activist from Providence, Rhode Island. She is of Irish, and Polish descent. Scout graduated valedictorian from The Met High School in June of 2017 and has since dedicated her time fully to acting. In her free time she enjoys roller-skating, singing, surfing, stand up comedy, and spending time with animals. She got her start acting when she was cast as the lead role of Sharpay Evans in her middle school's production of High School Musical (2012). She has taken classes at esteemed Trinity Repertory Company, The Wilbury Theatre Group, and The Gamm Theatre. Scout has been on movie sets since she was just 11 years old getting to work alongside household names such as Mark Ruffalo, Jack Black, Victoria Justice, and Ariana Grande. Scout got her first lead role in a film playing the spunky and sassy Penny in "Respite Road" (2019). She's acted in many student films for Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) including "The Major and Minor Key" playing Zeph, a kind and soft spoken non-binary person. Scout will be appearing in the Christmas romantic comedy Merry Ex-Mas (2022) playing Young Emma; The younger version of Vanessa Angel's character in all her flashback scenes. This will be Scout's big breakout role. She currently has other projects in the works and has some exciting announcements coming soon. Scout began working as a production assistant, wardrobe assistant, and assistant to the producer on many film sets when she was just 16 years old. She loves getting to learn about all the elements that go into making a movie. These experiences give Scout a unique understanding and perspective of all that's happening on set and therefore she is better able to perform on camera being aware of her surroundings. Scout has also done a lot of modeling for photographers as well as brands. She frequently models for Wicked Hippie, Cosmic Unicornz and has been featured in Dolls Kill. Scout is also a singer-songwriter. She's been singing since she could talk and began recording when she was 17 years old. Scout's single "Do My Thang" (2018) was nominated for "Best Single of the Year" and has charted on multiple verified Spotify playlists, as well as received over 75,000 views on YouTube. Her latest single "Cliche" (2022) co-produced and written by Scout won Motif Magazines award for "Best Music Video". Scout has multiple singles out and will continue to release new music this upcoming year. Scout has dedicated her time fully to pursuing her dream of acting and working on films and is excited to continue this creative journey going forward.
