Phil Anaya

Phil Anaya was born in Las Cruces, NM where he graduated from Las Cruces High School with Honors. He lettered all four years in high school in soccer and even achieved all-district honors. After graduating from high school, he received a partial academic & soccer scholarship to Valparasio University. After two years, Phil Anaya transferred to New Mexico State University where he finished his degree in journalism. He worked for a number of years at KFOX in El Paso, TX before he transferred to KENS5 in San Antonio, TX. Phil credits his brother CJ for constantly pushing him to pursue his dreams of journalism and acting.
