Jovita Trujillo

Jovita Trujillo is an up and coming actress and at the forefront of Latina ingenues in Hollywood. She is equally balanced in drama and comedy and hasn't stopped working or studying since she moved to Hollywood in 2014. She has been in various independent features, commercials, and showcases and performs comedy monthly at UCB with her sketch team Women of Color Anonymous. Jovita is also a talented improviser and recipient of the Groundlings Diversity Scholarship. Jovita is from a small town in Northern California and is a first generation Mexican American. Because of her parents strength and dedication she graduated from UCSB with a degree in Sociology. Her education allows her to tap into emotional and intellectual realms on a macro scale and her personal hardships more then lend itself to the emotionality needed for challenging roles. Jovita also has a strong sports and martial arts background and has experience with stunts and choreography.
