Lyra Aurora Blaze was born in Vancouver BC Canada. She is half Caucasian and half Hispanic, her mother is from Vancouver while her father is from Central America (El Salvador). Lyra was born into the film & TV industry! While her mother, an indie filmmaker, was working from home pregnant, her father was busy working as a VFX artist on "Supernatural" season 9. The night she was born, fans of the show were thrilled as her birth landed on a Tuesday, with that night's episode entitled "First Born"! They blew up his Twitter account with well wishes and couldn't get enough of Lyra's first photos... the newest member of the SPN family had arrived, and she was the spitting image of a fallen angel. Later in the summer of 2014, at the age of 6 months, her parents shot the web-series pilot "Death Row Democracy" starring indie-horror darling Tristan Risk, with Lyra included in the cast. She spent several days in the studio and on-location, watching the chaos and meeting many new faces. She shot her scene alongside her mother (breast-feeding) under the direction of her father Christian Blaze. Seeing how well adjusted she was around a film crew, her parents decided it was time to officially bring her into the family business. She was referred to City Talent by a local casting assistant shortly thereafter. Two months later, in the fall of 2014, at the age of 8 months, she landed her first big break: while having dinner with her parents and a producer from Taiwan, he was instantly smitten by her look, and the next day they pitched her to the people at HTC (mobile phones) for a series of upcoming commercials to star in. They loved her! A few weeks later she worked 4 days on set, starring in 2 spots, co-starring in another, and having fun doing B/G in another. She blew the cast, crew & client away! Now earning her nickname of "The HTC Baby", she proved to her parents that she's a natural performer, and can't wait to work on set again.
