Kinsey Kunkel

Kinsey's love for acting quite literally began on a movie set, at just 9 years old, when she was cast as an extra in "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues." Kinsey has never regarded acting as a just a hobby. It has always been, and continues to be, her career path of choice and her primary focus outside of school and family. After expressing a sincere interest in pursuing acting, she obtained agent representation and was cast in such popular television shows as The Originals, Salem, and Outcast. Her personal favorite is Salem, in which her character has a death scene. She has also taken part in a number of short films and web series, which keeps her busy in front of the camera. Recently, Kinsey has expanded her interest to include working behind the camera by writing, casting, producing, and directing two short films of her own. One of these films, "In Limbo," has won several awards on the short film circuit. The other, "Consequences," is in post production. Both these experiences provided the opportunity to see things from a different perspective and have expanded her understanding of the entertainment industry. Kinsey calls Atlanta, GA, her home and lives in the northwest metro area. In her spare time, she enjoys writing screenplays, reading books mainly from the Sci Fi/fantasy genre, playing computer games with her older brother, learning the martial art of Jiu Jitsu, and exploring the vast array of 80s/90s movies with her Gen X parents. She attends a hybrid home-school which offers her the flexibility to pursue her acting and fosters a self-study discipline. She has never earned below a 4.0 grade point.
