Shawnda Christiansen

Shawnda Darice Christiansen (November 8, 1969)- is a Sacramento, CA writer and producer, best known for her feature film Junkie "Miles To Go" - and her debut novel. The novel, "Junkie: Broken Wings" is the true story that inspired the film Junkie. It released on Amazon on November 1, 2018 and immediately became the #1 new release in multiple categories: Psychology of Suicide, Substance Abuse, Drug Dependency Recovery, Sexual Abuse and was in the top 100 of 12 step programs all within 48 hours of it's release. In the year 2019 you can expect to see this book on tour as well as the release of the action packed film Junkie aka Miles To Go. Formerly a substance abuse counselor, Shawnda decided she wanted to reach more people with the message of hope and change, by producing an engaging feature film with strong performers. She felt that it would touch the lives of many because everyone is effected by substance abuse in one way or another. She had previously worked in various capacities on short film sets but Junkie "Miles To Go" was her first feature film. She also holds a degree in Psychology, is the mother of one child, is a certified cat herder, ghost hunter, and owner of Non Corporeal Investigations.
