Patrick Pearse

Australian-born filmmaker Patrick Pearse weaves symbolic and metaphorical representations of human interaction through emotionally raw and heavily visual narratives. Residing between Paris and New York, Patrick combines his passions for both writing and directing by applying provocative and abstract storytelling within strong photographically-inspired compositions. Patrick's natural progression from visual artist to director has infused his filmmaking with various artistic techniques , his work has developed into an original currency often featuring surrealist inspired methods and experimental storytelling. In 2016, Patrick premiered his experimental feature film "Francois Jane" at the Palais de Tokyo and Solomon R. Guggenheim museum.
