Burak Aydin is a Turkish cinematographer, director, and writer based in Istanbul. He lives in Bodrum together with his wife Gunseli Turkay and 5 dogs and 8 cats. Aydin studied Cinema at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. His first project was the documentary project co-organized by York University and Yeditepe University on The Figure of Flaneur In The City. His cinema career started in 2012 as a cinematographer with the short film "Prisoner" and continued with short films as a cinematographer. He subsequently worked as a Cinematographer and Assistant Director in many short films made his first feature film experience as a Cinematographer in the movie "Ten Ways to Forget the Ex Valentine", directed by Biray Dalkiran Aydin directed and produced my first film; Filth in 2015 which was shown at Moscow and Leeds International Film Festivals and won Izmir International Film Festival Best National Short Fiction Film Award.
