Mariah Cini started her acting career in 2014 at the age of 8 where she studied at the renowned Greentree Acting School. Mariah is best known for playing the role of 'Daisy' in a Channel Ten pilot entitled 'DAVE' alongside her screen dad Dave O'Neil and household Australian comedians Glenn Robbins, Emily Taheny, Geraldine Hickey, Dilruk Jayasinha, Dave Thornton and Dave Hughes. Mariah has also starred in short films; notably the multi award winning international short film 'Passage Of Flick'. Apart from various international wins, the film also took out the Joy House Film Festival in Australia, in which the festival artistic director and founder of the festival, Joy Hopwood, described Mariah as "the actress to watch". "Mariah shows great range and is a versatile actress," Hopwood said. "She's so talented at such a young age and is an up-and-coming star of the future." Apart from acting, Mariah enjoys dancing and performing to various roles that are challenging & help build her craft. Her passion is to continue to work with more female film-makers and help advocate equality in the film industry. In 2017, Mariah recently had the lead role in her school's Wakakirri entry, which took out the Victorian title. The 'Mr Huff' performance was runner up in the nation's 'Story of The Year'. Mariah has been privately trained by Kate Whitbread, producer of the international film 'Spirit Of The Game' and 'The Unlit'. Mariah continues to explore different genres of drama and sitcom as well as devote time working with quality film makers and creatives to promote gender equality in film. She is passionate about working more with female directors and seek roles that highlight females as the main protagonists, similar to her recent AAMI web campaign highlighting women in football. Having a natural acting disposition has helped Mariah secure many exciting roles and develop key industry relationships.
