Helene Wren, is a young adult actress who performs 17 - 25 year old roles and enjoys the process of movie making. She always comes to the set with a smile on her face, her lines memorized, takes direction very well and is a joy to have as a fellow cast member. She has appeared in a featured role playing 'Girl Shooting Barrels' in the 1920's biopic on Walt Disney's life, feature film 'Walt Before Mickey' starring Thomas Ian Nicholas, Jon Heder, and David Henrie, theatrically released in 2015. She has also appeared in a featured role playing 'Wedding Guest' in the feature film 'New Life', starring James Marsters, Erin Bethea and featuring Bill Cobbs, a love story of triumphs and tragedies that takes place over several decades released in theaters in 2016. Helene appeared in a principal role playing 'Lauren Hoats' in the theatrically released political comedy 'Swing State', starring Alex Beh, Sean Astin, Elaine Hendrix, and Taryn Manning. 'Swing State' won several awards and was the opening night film in the 2016 Downtown Los Angeles Film Festival prior to its theatrical release. Helene appeared in a principal role playing 'Kim Wepner' in 'The Brawler' starring Zach McGowan, Amy Smart, and Taryn Manning, a biopic on a legendary boxing champion Chuck Wepner theatrically released by Vertical Entertainment in 2019. She appeared in a featured role as Val the waitress in 'Wander' starring Tommy Lee Jones, Aaron Eckhart, Heather Graham, and Katheryn Winnick, an action thriller about a private investigator looking into a small town murder currently in Post-Production. She will also be appear in a principal role in 'Stowaway' along with co-stars Ashley Benson, Cara Delevingne. and Tom Wilkinson. Filming for 'Stowaway' begins in 2020. Helene has had principle and supporting roles in eight stage productions.. In 2019, she played Lord Leonard Astor in Peter and The Star Catcher. She has also had roles as Brigella in The Servant and Two Masters, Valencia Merble in an adaptation of Slaughterhouse 5, and Phyllis in Thoroughly Modern Millie Helene attended the Yale University Conservatory for Actors program in New Haven, Connecticut. She is also trained in musical theater. Helene enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, painting, sailing and horseback riding.
