Gaile Butvilaite

Gaile Butvilaite was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. When she was 2 years old she and her family moved to Caracas, Venezuela. When she was 5 years old she began studying Violin and Piano at the Emil Friedman Conservatory and at 10 years old, she began studying classical ballet. After 18 years in Venezuela she lived in Milan and in London, then returned to Lithuania and graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, BA in acting. Since then she has been working non stop, performing main roles in TV mini series, and in the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre and Oskaras Korsunovas Theatre. Traveling back and forth from Madrid and Barcelona to Vilnius, acting in films and doing acting and improvisation workshops. In 2020 nominated for a Golden Theatre Cross for dramaturgy at the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre show "Slowmotion".
