Erik Daniel Stumpp is an American Actor, known for "The Walking Dead" (2020-2022), "Ozark" (2019-2022) and The Tomorrow War (2020). He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his mother Mildred Thompson, a Bronx-born secretary and his father William Stumpp, an Electrician. The family moved to the suburbs of bucks county and Erik and his brother Billy enjoyed growing up outside the busy city. During high school Eric became highly interested in music and movies he use to practice and play keyboards daily and soon started writing songs which led to a album he recorded under the name Jonny Pop in 1991. The album was never released and Erik now 20 went to college and received a degree in Television/Film production. His first major film work was on the box-office success "The Six Sense" (1996). Erik enjoyed the film Production work but jobs were slim in Philly so Stumpp formed a group of talented musician and together they became a popular Philly funk dance band called "NUVO". Years later he developed the successful Hard Rock band "Octane". There song Gasoline written by Brian Quinn of "Candle Box" achieved national success was played on daily rotation at Philadelphia's #1 radio station 94WYSP. Taking a break from the music scene, Stumpp went back into film work and signed on to Sylvester Stallone's movie "Creed (2016). Once again Philly didn't have enough film work so when he saw Atlanta becoming a major production hub in 2016 he knew it was where he needed to be. He arrived alone with very little money and right away took a job washing cars and worked at getting films on his days off. Erik had trouble getting on crews for Union films so he took jobs as a background actor just to get in the door. Stumpp discovered that he really enjoyed the acting and soon was full time acting on many of Hollywood's biggest films and television shows. Today Erik Daniel Stumpp has played many roles on "Ozark", "The Resident", "Dynasty," and is featured as a new survivor in the 2021 season of "The Walking Dead".
