Kalene

Kalene comes from Long Island, in a little town with a silly name: Hicksville. She is a proud alumna of Hicksville High School, class of 2014. Since her completion of high school, Kalene has been fortunate enough to receive several theatrical credits in productions throughout New York City. She is affiliated with the Off-Off Broadway theatre company: Love Creek Productions where she recently performed in their run of Five Women Wearing the Same Dress as Frances. Kalene also marked her first NYC credit playing Melody "Twista" in Juggalicious, an original play written by Britton Buttrill. The play was part of the International Fringe Festival (2014), performed at the Robert Moss Theatre; which scored Kalene her first theatre review: http://nytheaternow.com/Content/Article/juggalicious . Kalene has been most recently cast in a Recurring Role (Ciara) in the horror short film series, The Sin Reapers (Forte Films Entertainment), as well as a Principle Role (Alexis) in an upcoming web series titled, Expensive Dreams. Kalene continues to enrich her studies with award-winning, director/producer/writer Sam Borowski, in his So You Want To Be An Actor Class, in addition to vocally training with Rent's Original Broadway Cast member, Fredi Walker-Browne (musical theatre/pop/classical technique).
