Samantha Jai was born Samantha Jai Henderson in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She became aware of her passion for acting whilst in her role of "cow" in a Christmas play. She continued to pursue the art in church, local theatre and school; she knew that acting would be what she needed to do for the rest of her life. In 2011, Samantha moved to Chicago to further her training. She attended Columbia College where she was cast in her first dramatic play, "July 7, 1994." Her Chicago Theatre debut followed with an experimental documentary theatre piece called "Line One." Samantha was also an ensemble member with About Face Youth Theatre and was understudy to Thumbelina in Lifeline Theatre's children's adaption of "Thumbelina". She continued to be involved in many student film projects and was recently given a part in the independent film, Less Than 30 (2016). She had the pleasure of performing in The Vagina Monologues for V-Day 2016, and is featured in a Michael Myers fan-film documentary titled Michael Myers: Absolute Evil (2016), which can be viewed on YouTube. Samantha Jai has now moved to Los Angeles and continues to pursue her career.
