Welcome to the impulsive journey of Partha sarathi Manna He has born on 2nd August, 1985 in a small village of East Medinipur, West Bengal (INDIA). He was a very silent and thoughtful child. His father is a farmer and mother is a home maker. Nowhere in his family involved with film industry nor they liked. At the age of 16yrs his thoughtful mind took him in a path of Direction and he started searching the way of becoming a Director. Slowly he started saving his pocket money to buy directorial books and in other hand he was following the articles and interviews of many successful Directors, he started keeping all the paper cuttings as a inspiration to reach to his Goal. At the age of 18yrs he got to know about FTII (FILM AND TELEVISION INSTITUTE OF INDIA) that one has to complete graduation to get admission in FTII and he was not eligible at that time. Then he left his own house as he knows his family will never allow him to choose Direction as his profession. He come down to Kolkata, the city of joy to complete his graduation. After completing his study he again try for FTII and the bitter truth was he is not financially strong to get admission but he never gave up.. He started following all interviews of all big Directors from where he learned that only degree will not give him chance to enter into Film Industry. He got to know that one has to struggle a lot to become a Director. As we all know, if anyone want anything by heart God who has created the whole universe will give way to reach to his destiny. And so a Godly power gave him a chance to meet with a light man. Holding hand of a light man he reaches to Mumbai, a world of dreams. His first step towards Film Industry was an assistant of many Directors in different Hindi Film Projects like "Payback", "Vikalp", "Thanks Maa", "Loot" etc & also few Commercial Advertisement, Daily shops, Telefilms done by him. He is so curious of learning that he learn anything very quickly. His hard work is like Magical stick that he stared impressing those directors and producers he worked with. Slowly he started getting opportunity as an Independent Director in few Short Films like "Loc...a play ground", "Kite...the Messenger", "Punish Me Die", "A Toy Gun", "G" etc. among this " Loc... A play ground" won 9 awards in various short film festivals. "Kite... The Messenger" is going to attend many film festivals this year. Being a Bengali origin he got an opportunity to Direct a Bengali Film "Misti Cheler Dustu Buddhi". And this not the end now he is simultaneously working with 3 more projects. His herd work shows that A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.
