Alex Arriaza

Alex is an artist originally from El Salvador in Central America. He traveled to Florida when younger with his family escaping the rising violence and oppression in his native country after the war and is extremely thankful for the open culture and natural beauty of this area. His efforts focus on using art in many forms to re-awaken a connection with nature, in particular sacred dancing and visual art. He also holds meditation, flow, energy work, pranayama and qi-gong workshops at diverse gatherings and in some local studios. A very active fire performer in the central Florida region for the past 8 years but more intensely in the past 4. Sacred Fire tender for many gatherings, Alex is a priest of the Sacred Flame and is always honored to share knowledge in these topics with as many as possible in order to assist in the restoration of our relationship with fire and the other elements to a beautiful and harmonious state. A particular emphasis of his work is the empowering of the collective reverence and reconnection to elemental (earth, water, air, fire, ether) and nature spirits. Through many mediums, he seeks to reconcile the wisdom of our past with the technology of the present so that we may best express the incredible human potential we all share. He believes it is a great gift to be able to share in the ancestral torch of knowledge and is very excited to pass it forward on to you! May the light of the sacred fire glow brightly in all hearts.
