Ellis Macaluso

Ellis Macaluso was born on October 1st, 1980 in Italy. He is the second of four children of teacher Marida and photographer Romanus. After graduating from high school in bio-technologies Ellis worked for almost 20 years before enrolling to University (Colchester Institute) in the United Kingdom where he obtained his Ba(Hons) in Acting, Directing and Screen-writing. During that time he joined a local theatre company (Edge Theatre) and performed in several plays. Ellis first short film was The Date by Christopher Jolley, he also appeared in Monkey Madness, Extreme Phobias Extreme Cures 1.4 (Sky1 show). Ellis has been under the wing of teacher and mentor Brian Astbury for 2 years after graduating.
