Jacob Ethan Chattman is an American film and television actor, producer and award winning screenwriter. He was born to Joann Chattman, an elementary school teacher, and Dr. Martin S. Chattman, an emergency physician. He married his long time girlfriend Christina Peterson in June of 2017. His ancestry includes Russian Jewish, English, Scottish, and Irish. Originally from Cave Creek, AZ, he started his theatrical journey at the age of 8 playing the lead roll in a mime production of the Nutcracker. Over the next 15 years he studied and performed mime and movement theater under C. Nicholas Johnson. After graduating with an economics degree from the University of Arizona in 2008, Jacob moved to Boston, MA to play bass guitar in an indie rock band named Lagoon, which toured New England for nearly 4 years. While performing music, Jacob discovered a new love for film and television acting and writing. After the band dissolved (as they often do), Jacob decided to continue his acting career by moving to Los Angeles and has starred in a number of feature films, television pilots, and series episodes.
