Ashleigh Plyler

A couple of summers ago, Ashleigh was part of a Project Scientist television news story. Being part of this experience piqued her interest in acting and modeling, so she participated in Premiere Event, where she performed monologues, commercials, and television scenes, along with various modeling activities. Since then, she started taking acting and modeling classes. She recently worked on the Mother's Day movie, a NC Education Lottery Commercial, and multiple episodes of Sid Roth's It's Supernatural TV show. She has also been in the following independent films: Lost and Found, Paradoxical Synchronicity, Concerto Di Aria, and Expect No Mercy. Last summer, she was the rooster in a Shrek, Jr. theater production. More recently, she portrayed Addy in Acting Out Studio's end of year performance, and she was an announcer, dancer, and singer for PSE Goes to Broadway. In addition to acting, Ashleigh enjoys modeling. She has done runway modeling as well as print and hand-mold modeling. Ashleigh is comfortable being on stage and in front of an audience, as she has been doing ballet/tap/jazz dance recitals every year at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center since she was 3. In her free time, Ashleigh enjoys playing tennis and soccer, swimming, gymnastics, horseback riding, jump roping, hula hooping, riding her scooter, playing with animals, and participating in Girl Scouts.
