Lynda Furlow Writer/Director/Producer & Founder of Fill the Void Productions Lynda Furlow is the founder and CEO of Fill the Void Productions in Brooklyn, NY. Ms. Furlow is a former journalist and contributing editor for NBC. She also created and toured the country with her critically acclaimed one woman show, "It's More Important To Me"; a contemporary take-off on George Sand, the prolific and iconoclastic woman writer of the 19th century France. She has been in the forefront of the women's movement; created the Minority Women Task Force in NOW, member of the national feminist speakers bureau and advocate on minority women in the media. She has been a playwright, director and actress in New York Off Broadway theater and was the Artistic Director and playwright in residence of Evolutionary Ensemble; a multi-cultural theater group, using non-traditional casting, producing original works. FTV Productions purpose is to create and develop original material, which gives a platform for the story perspectives lacking in the TV & Film industry that need to be seen and heard. Original episodic series, feature films and documentaries are in development. FTV's first projects in development is "Temporary Home", an original drama series, on women in transitional homelessness, based on the play "Searching for Home" written by Lynda Furlow and her documentary, "#representationmatters"; on the lack of inclusion and importance in history of black feminist in the second wave of the women's liberation movement. Lynda Furlow was the founder and CEO of LF Manegement, NY; music management for recording artists on Universal/ Polygram Music Group and created Your Style Vision (YSV), an online image consulting service.
